  • Material used for the housing fabrication - PET, the insert is made of polystyrene.
  • Flexible galvanized cable with a diameter of 0.6-0.7 mm. At the client’s request the seals can be delivered with a cable of stainless steel or of plastic coated steel. The standard cable length is of 250 mm. At the client's request, it can be lengthened.
  • Dimensions: 22х24,5х15,4 mm.
  • The weight at a standard cable length – 3 gr.
  • The seal is resistant to climatic changes, it continues to function within the temperature ranges: from -50°С to +50°С
Marking
The marking is made by laser printing and is formed of 7 letter and a number of 7 digits. The character’s height up to 2,5 mm. On a special request it is possible the marking to be of 11 letters with the height up to 2 mm.
Packaging
The seal and blocking devices “SHIELD” are packed in plastic bags of 100 pieces each and then in cardboard boxes of 1000 pieces each. Packaging weight at a standard cable length – 3,65kg.
Installation rules
  • The free end of the cable shall be inserted into the holes of the object to be sealed, and then into the holes of the housing of the seal.
  • The cable should be pulled by hand through the hole until the loop between the seal and the object to be sealed shrinks up to 4-5 mm.
  • To block it, it is necessary to turn the insert clockwise not less than 3 times.
  • After all the actions mentioned above, the projection part of the insert breaks and the installation is considered finished..
